Bus service
NBEO is not responsible for CATS bus stops, fees, or times; please check their website for up-to-date information. Please ensure you are aware of travel time to the NCCTO.
Other services
Taxi and ride share services are available at the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport. For returning to the airport, taxis are not typically in the vicinity of the testing location, you would need to contact the service.
Locating NCCTO
Candidates should arrive no earlier than 15 minutes prior to their listed registration time. Entrance to the Edison building will not be permitted prior to that time. No guests are allowed in the building. Before you are allowed entry into the building, you will be required to show a security guard one valid government-issued photo identification. Once inside the building, a security guard will direct you to the elevators that will take you to the second floor. The second floor will have signs to direct you to the test center.

Hotels
If you are staying in a hotel on Arrowood Road, you should consider using a ride-share or taxi service instead of walking to the NCCTO. While our testing center is close in proximity to several hotels, the route along Arrowood Road is not pedestrian-friendly.
Reserving a hotel near the NBEO
To make the process of traveling to Charlotte easier for candidates taking an exam at the NCCTO, the NBEO has obtained special contracted rates with the hotels listed below. Though many other hotels exist near the NCCTO, currently only the hotels included in this web page have provided NBEO candidates with negotiated corporate room rates.
Only a limited number of rooms are set aside for use with these negotiated rates; it is best to reserve early to secure the special room rate. The NBEO/NCCTO cannot guarantee any special dates or room availability at any time. Please be aware that each hotel may have particular blackout dates for other events hosted in Charlotte at the same time as your exam, and the NBEO rate will be unavailable on those days. If you run into any issues with reservations, please contact the hotel directly for more information. You may also email the hotel you would like to stay with and ask for a list of blackout dates and plan accordingly.
