Score reports for computer-based exams are typically posted for viewing within 5-7 weeks following the complete administration of an examination. NBEO will notify candidates via email once the scores are posted. For more information regarding the score release process please click here.

Please note that score reports consist of a candidate’s entire examination history. NBEO reserves the ability to delay score release.

One score report will be issued, at no charge, to the candidate’s optometric institution if the candidate authorizes release of the scores during registration.

3. To the state board(s):
Upon confirmation of graduation by the institution to NBEO and completion of all Parts, NBEO will release a free cumulative score report to the state board(s) a candidate selects during their registration for Part III. OSLE SCORES

To all online state law exam (OSLE) candidates except Florida, candidates will need to contact their respective state board(s) to find out when their scores will be released by the state board(s). NBEO only administers state law exams. State boards determine the pass/fail cut off score and release scores. A score of an OSLE administered by NBEO must be obtained directly from the state board(s); it will not appear on the NBEO score report.

To all Florida OSLE candidates, the Florida Department of Health sets the pass/fail cutoff score. Florida OSLE scores are only available from our website. Instructions on how to look up a Florida OSLE score are available on the OSLE webpage of our website.
